Main Walkthrough
Village Gate, Camp and Monster Lake
Open the gate, recover the first two mosaic pieces and follow the lake route to the Jarl's hall.
- Speak with the presenter at the village gate and inspect the notice board. Record the displayed symbols for a later rune-position puzzle, then continue to the camp and take the knife and stick.
Talk at the gate and inspect the notice board before moving on. The symbols shown here are reused by a later rune puzzle. The entrance contains the first dragon-head collectible and one of the 13 morphing objects. The stone beneath the broken cart also hides a lighthouse. - Light the torch at the campfire. Cut the tied cover with the knife and move the round amulet through the maze to the exit; take the pike pole and bowstring from the opened compartment.
Guide the green amulet through the channels to the target on the right. The compartment releases the pike pole and bowstring. - Use the stick beneath the blocked roadside object to obtain Mosaic Piece 1/7 and the first lighthouse collectible. At the lake, scrape the moss from the carved rock with the knife and search the shore before leaving.
Search the lake before advancing: the scene contains a fish interaction plus a morphing object, dragon head and token. - Use the pike pole to pull the floating barrel close and take the handle. Inspect the shield positions on the longship because their layout becomes a clue later, then speak with the seated Viking and take the bird.
Cut the obstruction and record the shield arrangement on the ship. It is a visual clue, not an item to collect. - Collect Rune 1/8, fit the handle to the shutter and take the key. Open the coffin with that key to collect Mosaic Piece 2/7 and the axe.
- Cut the marked wood with the axe, place the firewood in the stove and use the bird on the gate mechanism. Pull the chains so every gem drops into the matching crown-shaped socket, then enter the village.
Pull the chains until each colored gem falls into the socket with the same outline. The completed crown opens the gate.
Gate Amulet Maze
How to solve it
- Trace a continuous route from the starting recess to the exit before moving the amulet.
- Use the larger cavities to change direction without trapping the piece.
- Finish at the right-hand target to release the pike pole and bowstring.
Crown Gem Chain Puzzle
How to solve it
- Match each suspended gem with the socket displaying the same shape.
- Pull one chain at a time and watch which row or stop it changes.
- Leave every gem directly above its matching socket, then release them into the crown.
Village Halls, Tannery and Runestone
Clear the central buildings, rebuild the carved figures and assemble the three chips that reveal the runestone.
- Inside the village, use the pike pole to reach the tongs and cut open the tied bundle with the axe and knife. Keep the chalks and collect Rune 2/8.
- Study the flower drawing already revealed on the rock, then press the flowers on the hall panel to reproduce it. Take the key and decorated plate from the opened compartment.
Copy the colored flower arrangement from the moss-covered rock onto the hall panel. The completed pattern releases a key and plate. - Reassemble the three broken warrior figurines by returning every fragment to the matching figure and pedestal. Collect Rune 3/8, then use the flower-puzzle key to take the cauldron and Mosaic Piece 3/7.
Build one warrior at a time, matching armor, headgear and weapon fragments to the correct body and pedestal. - Cut the marked tree and boards with the axe. Place the cauldron where indicated, free the frozen area and use the burning torch to melt the ice; take the skull and Mosaic Piece 4/7.
- Clear the multi-scene hidden-object sequence and take the runestone from the final scene. Use the symbol order recorded at the entrance to move every rune into its marked position, then collect the pliers.
The frozen wreck opens a chained series of hidden-object scenes. Follow each scene transition rather than searching only the first room. Complete all linked scenes to recover the runestone, a required component of the celestial axe. Move the runes to match the symbol layout seen at the village entrance. The reward is the pliers. - Use the pliers to free the bow and arrows. Place the decorated plate on the dragon relief and rearrange its pieces until the dragon matches the picture on the plate; take Rune 4/8 and the handsaw.
Use the dragon drawing on the plate as the reference and reposition every relief fragment until the complete dragon is visible. - Attach the bowstring to the bow. Place the skull in its recess and rotate the emblem wheels until every symbol sits beside its matching drawing; take Rune 5/8.
Rotate the linked circles so every small emblem aligns with the corresponding scene drawing around the board. - Adjust the hanging chains until all their lower ends are level and take the token. Insert the token in the stone statue and rearrange the picture tiles to open the path toward the witch.
Pull the chains until their lower ends form one straight horizontal line. The compartment releases the token. Insert the token and assemble the hexagonal tiles into one continuous scene to reveal the route beyond the statue.
Entrance Rune Position Puzzle
Use the notice-board symbols recorded at the start of the episode.
How to solve it
- Open the entrance clue in the journal or compare it with your screenshot.
- Move each rune into the position occupied by the same symbol on the notice board.
- Check the full layout before confirming to receive the pliers.
Witch's Camp, Deer Shrine and Tree Route
Follow the witch's symbols, win the deer-board star and collect the gear, cloak and ladder.
- Speak with the exiled witch and inspect the symbol that appears in her cauldron. Rotate the glyph petals until they form that symbol in the center, then take Mosaic Piece 5/7.
Memorize the symbol glowing in the cauldron before opening the nearby glyph-petal board. Rotate the three rings of glyph petals until their center reproduces the witch's cauldron symbol. - Collect the staff and horn. Place the horn on the deer shrine and move the patterned sections until the deer relief reaches the shaped opening at the far side; collect the puzzle star and stone.
Shift the patterned pieces to create a path and guide the deer relief into the far shaped opening. This puzzle awards one of the ten stars. - Insert the stone in the snake board. Extend the snake with the directional arrows until it fills every free square, then take the key and Rune 6/8.
Use the arrows to grow the snake through every empty square without isolating an unreachable pocket. - Unlock the marked cache and activate the raven. Read the knots on the nearby rope, then pull the four ropes in the sequence shown in your own game to obtain the gear.
The rope knots define the pull order in your current playthrough. Read that clue instead of copying a sequence from another save. - Use the staff on the line-and-stone board and slide every stone onto a marked target. Take the cloak, then cut the hanging meat with the knife.
Move the stones only along the printed lines and finish with every stone occupying a highlighted target. - Install the gear and operate the handle to receive the lavender. Give the meat to the raven for a feather, place the feather on the hexagon board and match every symbol along adjoining edges.
Swap the hexagons until every touching edge shows the same symbol on both tiles. - Take the ladder from the opened route and record the drawing needed by the archive-room constellation puzzle.
Deer Relief Star Puzzle
How to solve it
- Identify the deer-shaped destination at the opposite end of the board.
- Move the patterned blocks to open a connected corridor through the center.
- Guide the deer relief through the corridor and into the final recess to earn the star.
Four-Rope Knot Sequence
Count and read the knots on the clue rope, then pull ropes 1–4 in that displayed order.
The sequence can differ between games. A photographed sequence is not a universal answer.
How to solve it
- Number the four hanging ropes from left to right.
- Translate the knot pattern into those rope numbers in order.
- Pull the ropes without inserting an extra move; restart the cache if the sequence resets.
Archive House, Longship and Seven Mosaics
Recover the forging instructions, complete the seven-piece eagle mechanism and obtain all eight runes.
- In the archive house, remove the panel screws with the knife. Arrange the numbered map tubes so the four columns total 32, 31, 34 and 30; take the celestial-axe forging instructions.
The archive contains the map-tube board, one morphing object and several collectible rewards. Search both the main floor and attic. Reorder the numbered tubes so the columns total 32, 31, 34 and 30. The completed cabinet releases the forging instructions. - Collect Mosaic Piece 6/7 and use the tongs to remove the hot ornament. Place the chalks and ornament where indicated, then rotate the tray rings until the constellation matches the drawing recorded near the ladder; take Mosaic Piece 7/7.
Use the earlier drawing as the reference and rotate the rings until the blue points form the same constellation. - Place the ladder beside the longship and interact with the seagull to obtain the fish. Insert all seven mosaic pieces in the eagle mechanism and move the purple discs until every eagle emblem is active.
Insert all seven mosaics, then move the purple discs until their connecting paths illuminate every eagle emblem. - Take the meteorite metal, painting and Rune 7/8. Mount the painting in the archive and mark the ten matching details shared by both pictures; collect the wick and Rune 8/8.
Compare the two paintings section by section and select the ten identical details to release the wick and final rune. - Place all eight runes in the sealed board. Remove every emerald by jumping one stone over another until only the required final position remains, then take the ring and note the revealed drawing.
Jump emeralds over adjacent stones into empty positions. Each valid jump removes the stone that was crossed.
Map Tube Column Sums
Make the four columns total 32, 31, 34 and 30 from left to right.
How to solve it
- Treat each vertical section as an independent sum.
- Start with the highest target, 34, and place the largest tube numbers there.
- Balance the remaining tubes across 32, 31 and 30, then verify all four totals before confirming.
Eight-Rune Emerald Jump Board
How to solve it
- A stone moves only by jumping over an adjacent stone into an empty point on the same line.
- Work from the outer edges inward so isolated corner stones are not left behind.
- Plan the final two jumps before clearing the center; the board completes when the required survivor remains.
Tree Room, Shield Code and Forge
Open the final workshop route, earn the colored-star puzzle reward and forge the celestial axe.
- Take the basket and inspect the green weapon poster near the tree. Count the swords, axes and pikes in your own clue, then rotate the three shield dials to those counts and take the hammer.
The tree room contains the basket, one morphing object, a goat figurine, token and powder bag. The nearby weapon poster supplies the shield-dial counts. Count the three weapon types on your green poster and set the dials in that order. The visible numbers are an example, not a substitute for the clue. - Use the ring on the coffin to obtain the lever and wine. Install the lever, feed the fish to the bird for the mug and fill the basket with the marked flowers to obtain the snowdrops.
- Place the mug on the star mechanism. Fill its inner and outer segments with the arrows so every touching side has the same color; take the puzzle star, anvil and map.
Fill the star from both the inside and outside, keeping adjacent edges the same color. The reward includes a star and the anvil. - Use the chalks to color the map territories exactly like the example revealed earlier. Place the anvil at the forge and move the spring-mounted symbol rows until they align with the matching symbols along the bottom; take the forge tongs.
Use the chalks to reproduce the color arrangement from the earlier example. Match territory boundaries carefully, not just approximate positions. Slide the spring-mounted rows left or right until every symbol lines up with its identical fixed symbol along the bottom. - Put the meteorite metal in the crucible and melt it. Lift the liquid metal with the tongs, pour it into the casting hole and cool the casting in the water barrel to obtain the axe blank.
- Use the snowdrops at the marked growth, then cut the released branch with the handsaw and trim it with the knife to make the handle. Combine the blank, runestone and handle on the anvil, then strike them with the hammer to forge the celestial axe.
Place the blank, runestone and wooden handle on the anvil, then use the hammer to complete the celestial axe.
Shield Dial Weapon Counts
Count swords, axes and pikes on the green poster, then enter the three counts in that order.
Use the poster in your game; do not assume a screenshot's numbers are universal.
How to solve it
- Count each weapon type separately and write down the totals.
- Confirm the order shown by the shield clue: swords, axes, then pikes.
- Rotate the three shield dials to those values and collect the hammer.
Colored Star Segment Puzzle
How to solve it
- Use one set of arrows to feed pieces into the inner star and the other set for the outer points.
- Match the colors on every pair of touching edges before filling the next segment.
- Complete both layers to receive the star, anvil and map.
Fearlessness Ritual and Finale
Prepare the ritual ingredients, make the lavender candle and enchant the celestial axe.
- Give the cloak to the witch and take the fearlessness-ritual instructions. Collect the first feather, aromatic herbs, wine and berries from the newly opened interactions.
- Place the celestial axe at the ritual stand. Add the berries, aromatic herbs and wine in the indicated positions, then use the assembled bow and arrows to recover the remaining feather and place all three feathers.
After adding the berries, herbs and wine, place all three feathers to continue the enchantment and release the candle mold. - Take the released candle mold. Add the wick, cut wax with the knife and combine the wax with the collected fat and lavender to make purple lavender wax.
- Fill the mold with the wick and lavender wax, then take the finished candle. Place it beside the other candles to reveal the final rune clue.
- Rotate the upper and lower stones until they form the rune shown by the candle and map clue. Take the Axe of Fearlessness from the activated statue.
Light the lavender candle and reproduce the illuminated rune by rotating the upper and lower stones. - Return to the Jarl and give him the Axe of Fearlessness. Collect the finale star and complete Episode 3.
Take the enchanted axe from the statue and give it to the Jarl to finish the episode and receive the story star.
Lavender Candle Rune
The candle-lit map reveals the target rune immediately before this puzzle.
How to solve it
- Place the completed lavender candle with the other candles.
- Record the rune projected onto the map.
- Rotate the top and bottom stone halves until their combined lines form that rune.
Collectibles and Bonus Boards
Find 13 morphing objects, six dragon heads, six goat figurines, five lighthouses, five tokens and five powder bags.
- Morphing objects (13): upper-right village gate; left fence at the monster lake; wheel on the forge's right wall; left side of the camp tent; left house in the village center; top of the dining-hall right column; right shield behind the Jarl-house window; between the distant ship and house; upper center of the tannery; table beside the shaman birdcage; map hanging from the archive table; upper-left arch in the tree statue room; rock above the green wall in the tree room. Claim the star beside the statue in the tree house.
The statue room holds the morphing-object reward as well as a dragon head, token, rune and powder-bag interaction. - Dragon heads (6): upper-left village gate; roof of the right lake house; roof of the right village-center house; upper-left cloth in the tannery; table with the skull in the shaman house; left column at the tree statue-room entrance. Claim the set star from the archive-house table.
- Goat figurines (6): ground between the forge stove and wheel; ground between two columns in the Jarl's house; camp table; left dining-hall table; second shelf on the archive's left side; ground beneath the green wall in the tree room. Claim the set star in the tannery.
- Lighthouses (5): beneath the stone under the broken entrance cart; inside the drum to the Jarl's right; right dining-hall table; top shelf of the tannery's left cabinet; shaman table beside the skull. Place the set on the village-street board and guide each colored ship to its matching anchor across all five levels.
Move each ship in straight lines until it reaches the anchor matching its color. Ships stop only when blocked. Use other ships as temporary stops when a colored vessel would otherwise slide past its anchor. Finish all five ship boards to claim the lighthouse-set star. - Tokens (5): wooden stand beside the lake barrel; stand inside the forge; beneath the leaves beside the village honey baskets; beside the goat-figurine reward in the tannery; axe held by the tree-house statue. Use them in the archive attic and connect every node with one continuous neon laser across five levels.
Rotate the elements so the neon beam forms a continuous network through every required node. Build outward from a fixed endpoint and avoid closing a loop before every branch is connected. The fifth completed laser network awards the token-set star. - Powder bags (5): top of the archive puzzle cabinet; upper-right red hide in the tannery; camp tree hollow; beneath the wooden shell beside the broken-ship figurehead; among the tree roots in the tree room. Place the full set in the shaman house and match identical glowing rune stones until the board is empty.
Reveal and match pairs of identical rune stones until no stones remain on the table. Clearing the complete rune-pair board awards the powder-bag star.
Lighthouse Bonus: Colored Ships
How to solve it
- Match each ship color to its anchor before moving anything.
- Use walls and other ships as stopping blocks because a ship continues until obstructed.
- Park ships that already have a direct route, then solve the constrained vessels and clear all five levels.
Token Bonus: Neon Laser Network
How to solve it
- Begin with pieces that have only one possible connection.
- Rotate the neighboring elements to extend the same uninterrupted beam.
- Connect every branch without a dead end and repeat through all five levels.
Powder Bonus: Matching Rune Stones
How to solve it
- Turn over stones and remember both the symbol and its position.
- Remove a pair whenever two identical runes are visible.
- Continue until the table is empty to receive the star.

Story finale
Give the Axe of Fearlessness to the Jarl after completing the ritual.
This list does not claim an unverified total. Missing an extra star? Send the location and we will verify it before adding it.
Secret Location: Tree-Room Boat Passage
Activate four disguised environmental switches, then return to the cupboard beside the glowing tree.
- Activate the four hidden switches during the main route: press the dark stone on the tree-room column, turn the wooden arrow at the lake, rotate the moose mount in the Jarl's house and press the dark brick in the forge chimney.
- Return to the tree room after all four switches are active. The cupboard beside the glowing tree moves aside and exposes the secret passage.
After all four environmental switches are activated, this cupboard slides away from the wall and reveals the hidden route. - Enter the passage and start the boat challenge. Use the left and right controls early—each obstacle needs room for the boat to finish turning.
- Steer around the rocks and hanging barriers without exhausting the attempt counter. Reach the far end to collect the secret-location star.
Use the two steering controls before the boat reaches each rock or hanging gate. Completing the course awards the secret star.
