Episode 12

Artifact Seekers Haunted Theatre Walkthrough

Break the curse holding an entire theatre audience in place and return the stolen mask to its ghostly owner. This complete Episode 12 walkthrough follows the route room by room, keeps every important item beside the scene where it is used, explains the fixed codes and puzzle rules, and closes with all ten stars and the twelve-puppet secret room.

How to read this guide

Actions are grouped by location. Puzzle clues that come from earlier scenes are labeled instead of being replaced with an unverified universal answer. Starting layouts can vary; when they do, follow the method rather than copying a single board.

Main Walkthrough

01

Lobby, Stage and Backstage

Open the auditorium, meet the ghost and establish the first route through the theatre.

  1. Speak with the man in the lobby, then clear the entrance scene before moving on. Take the knife and poster from the brochure stand, collect Stone Eye 1/2 near the display, move the couch and use the knife on the exposed panel for Stone Eye 2/2.
  2. Place both stone eyes in the two lion heads on the auditorium doors. Move each loose shape into the recess with the same outline; the completed board unlocks the theatre.
  3. Enter the auditorium and speak with the ghost searching for his stolen mask. Inspect the fallen chandelier for Gear 1/4, the torch and the press plate. Pull the right curtain for Lever 1/3, then open the nearby grate for Hex Key 1/2.
  4. Go through the curtain on the left side of the stage. Use the torch on the front cylinder to open it, then take Gear 2/4 and the stage diagram. At the far door, collect the medallion and loosen the rope knot.
  5. Lift the fallen sandbag and take the rope plus the handle from the opened floor space. Collect the water from the control desk between the two backstage doors.
  6. Return to the lobby, fit the handle to the coat-check shutter and speak with the sick man. Take the key he gives you and use it on the door marked with the fork-and-spoon sign.
Puzzle solution

Lobby Lion-Eye Door

Fixed solution

How to solve it

  1. Insert both stone eyes to activate the board.
  2. Compare each loose piece with the differently shaped recesses around the lions.
  3. Place every piece in its matching outline; no piece needs to be rotated into a different symbol.
02

Restaurant and Inner Courtyard

Read the rose-vase code, earn the first timed star and open the repair shop.

  1. Search the restaurant. Take Crown 1/2 from the rear table and Gear 3/4 from the table with the fan. Inspect the four rose vases: their flower count sets the order and the number of sides on each vase gives the digit.
  2. Return backstage and enter 5463 on the far-door lock: one yellow pentagon, two purple diamonds, three pink hexagons and four red triangles. The door opens into the inner courtyard.
  3. At the courtyard, take Gear 4/4 from beneath the car hood and the heart from the bicycle. Return to the restaurant and place the heart in the small wall cabinet.
  4. For the cabinet board, place identical tokens in the same horizontal rows, opposite the matching symbols. Finish before the timer expires to secure the optional star, then take the sedative.
  5. Give the sedative and water to the man at coat check. After the conversation, take his car key and return to the courtyard.
  6. Unlock the car and take the wire cutters from the chess box and the second key from beneath the hat. Cut the bicycle wheel to obtain a length of wire.
  7. Use the second key on the red courtyard door. Rotate the triangular pieces until every triangle sits beside the symbol matching its face; this opens the repair shop.
Puzzle solution

Rose-Vase Door Code

Fixed solution
Quick solution

Enter 5463.

How to solve it

  1. Order the restaurant vases by rose count: one, two, three, four.
  2. Count the sides of each vase symbol: pentagon 5, diamond 4, hexagon 6, triangle 3.
  3. Enter 5-4-6-3 on the backstage keypad.
Puzzle solution

Timed Heart-Cabinet Rows

Randomized puzzle

The opening chip positions can vary. The optional star is awarded only if the board is cleared before the timer expires.

How to solve it

  1. Choose one printed symbol and identify every matching chip.
  2. Build that complete row before committing chips that belong elsewhere.
  3. Repeat for the remaining symbols; restart rather than letting a failed attempt consume the star timer.
03

Repair Shop and Stage Power

Repair the bus circuit, complete the press and restore electricity backstage.

  1. Pick up the loose tire outside the repair-shop door and place it over the electrified water so you can cross safely.
  2. Use the wire on the red workbench. Rotate the whole maze and its inner sections until the screw reaches the circular hole; take the wrench and Hex Key 2/2 from the opened bench.
  3. Take the rubber glove from the rear workbench and study the press sketch. Add the press plate to the machine now; the hose and press arm arrive later.
  4. Fit the medallion to the round bus-side panel. Rotate the center ball to guide every suitcase token into the slot with the same shape.
  5. Use the wrench on the courtyard bicycle for the rusty chain, then remove the battery from beneath the car hood. Install the battery beside the bus panel and connect the wires to open the bus.
  6. Inside the bus, place the poster beside the wooden dancer and pose the figure to match the printed silhouette. Take Crown 2/2 from the opened glove compartment.
  7. Backstage, use both hex keys on the electrical panel. Rearrange the wire sections so one unbroken route connects every numbered point in order, then pull the power lever.
  8. Place both crowns on the newly powered stage-side door. Shift each patterned token into the recess displaying the same motif to enter the changing room.
Puzzle solution

Rotating Screw Maze

Randomized puzzle

How to solve it

  1. Rotate the outside frame until gravity moves the screw into a useful channel.
  2. Turn individual inner sections to join the next part of the route.
  3. Keep the destination hole below the screw for the final rotation so it drops into place.
Puzzle solution

Bus Ballet-Figure Pose

Fixed solution

The poster collected in the lobby is the clue.

How to solve it

  1. Place the poster next to the figure.
  2. Adjust the head, both arms and both legs to mirror the dancer on the cover.
  3. Compare the silhouette rather than the costume details; the glove box opens when the pose matches.
Puzzle solution

Backstage Numbered Wire Panel

Fixed solution

How to solve it

  1. Open the panel with both hex keys.
  2. Rotate the wire tiles to create one continuous circuit through the printed numbers in ascending order.
  3. Trace the line from the first contact to the last before activating the power.
04

Changing Room, Balcony and Music Room

Reach the balcony, raise the chandelier and light the rooms beneath the stage.

  1. Search the changing room for the grappling hook, Lever 2/3 and Book 1/4. Cut open the patch on the armchair with the knife and take the small harp.
  2. Combine the grappling hook with the rope. In the auditorium, throw it to the balcony and climb up; collect the press arm, binoculars and the door handle beneath them.
  3. Open the restaurant's rear door and inspect the fryer. Put the rusty chain in the hot oil, then retrieve the cleaned chain with the wire cutters.
  4. At the stage-right mechanism, install all four gears and the cleaned chain. Reassemble each broken gear face so the full train turns and raises the chandelier.
  5. Go under the stage. Cut the drum for the hose, take the solvent from behind the chairs, cut string from the harp and collect Book 2/4 behind it.
  6. Fit the door handle to the right-hand door. Shift complete rows with the edge arrows until the square picture is restored in the center.
  7. The next room is dark. Return to the changing room, use the rubber glove to take the live bulb from the table lamp, then install it in the ceiling fixture beneath the stage.
  8. In the lit music room, take Mirror Shard 1/10 from the chair, the music stand from the jukebox-side box and the cash-register figurine from the chest. Collect Shards 2/10 and 3/10 from the violins and drums before leaving.
Puzzle solution

Stage Gear Train

Fixed solution

How to solve it

  1. Install all four gears and the cleaned chain.
  2. Move the loose fragments inside each gear until its decorative face and tooth ring are complete.
  3. Confirm that adjacent teeth mesh; the complete train raises the chandelier and opens the under-stage route.
Puzzle solution

Under-Stage Picture Door

Randomized puzzle

How to solve it

  1. Identify one unmistakable edge or corner of the target image.
  2. Shift entire rows and columns to move that fragment into the central square.
  3. Build outward from the anchored fragment until the centered image is continuous.
05

Staff Room, Workshop and Mirror

Recover all ten mirror shards, free the boy in the mirror and obtain the director's lockpicks.

  1. Return to the lobby and take Mirror Shard 4/10 from the vent opened behind the couch. Place the cash-register figurine at the ticket booth to receive a ticket.
  2. Use the ticket on the staff door and rotate the picture fragments until the image is upright. Enter the staff room.
  3. Take Shard 5/10 and Book 3/4 from the table beneath the hats, then open the left desk drawer for Shard 6/10. Fit the harp to its matching box and take the ball containing a key.
  4. Check the small office beyond the staff room and remember the portrait arrangement shown in its drawer. In the changing room, collect Shard 7/10 beneath the cowboy hat and Shard 8/10 beside the sewing machine.
  5. Back at the repair shop, add the hose and press arm to the press, place the ball inside and pull the lever. Take the cross-shaped key from the crushed shell.
  6. Use the cross key on the last backstage door. Find all ten differences between the two theatre pictures to open the workshop.
  7. In the workshop, cut the window drape for Shard 9/10 and the hard sponge. Return each profession's object to the correct wall character; the opened compartment contains Shard 10/10.
  8. Pour solvent into the bowl beside the covered workshop painting. In the music room, place all ten shards into the broken mirror. After speaking with the freed boy, take his lockpicks from behind the left base.
Puzzle solution

Workshop Door: Ten Differences

Fixed solution

How to solve it

  1. Compare matching areas of the two pictures rather than scanning one picture at random.
  2. Check the characters, hanging props, stage floor and background decorations.
  3. Leave all ten differences selected to unlock the door.
Puzzle solution

Workshop Character Attributes

Fixed solution

How to solve it

  1. Identify each displayed character's profession or role.
  2. Give each character the tool, costume piece or object associated with that role.
  3. Swap any rejected pair until every object has a unique matching owner.
06

Director's Office and Stage Controls

Open the director's office, win the second timed star and rebuild the portrait clue.

  1. Use the lockpicks on the director's door in the staff room. Read each printed number as the number of movements and each arrow as the direction; move the pick through the full route without improvising extra turns.
  2. Inside the director's office, inspect the typewriter and note its worn white letters: XHE. Take Book 4/4 from the desk and examine the newspaper and the empty portrait spaces around the window.
  3. Place all four books on the shelf. Sort the symbol tiles into the matching columns and set each one at the height printed by its clue. Finish before the timer expires for the second timed star, then take the sheet music and paintbrush.
  4. Recover the four portraits: take the general from the restaurant wall; brush solvent onto the workshop painting and scrub it for the warrior; take the musician from the changing room; the boy portrait arrives after the stage controls are set.
  5. Under the stage, place the music stand and sheet music beside the drums. Play the melody shown on the sheet to receive Ornate Plate 1/2.
  6. Open the music-room chest with XHE and take Lever 3/3. Install the three missing levers in the backstage console and place the stage diagram beside it.
  7. Set the five controls to middle/green, up, down, up, down from left to right. Return to the stage and take the boy portrait from the revealed tree scene.
Puzzle solution

Director's Door Lockpicks

Fixed solution

The lock itself prints the movement counts and directions; follow them literally.

How to solve it

  1. Start at the large red point.
  2. For each instruction, move the printed number of spaces in the arrow's direction.
  3. Continue from the new position until the pick reaches the terminal line.
Puzzle solution

Timed Book-Column Symbols

Fixed solution

How to solve it

  1. Use the symbol at the bottom to choose a token's column.
  2. Use the associated height clue to choose its row within that column.
  3. Place every token before the timer ends to receive the optional star.
Puzzle solution

Five Stage Levers

Fixed solution
Quick solution

Left to right: middle/green, up, down, up, down.

How to solve it

  1. Install all three collected lever handles.
  2. Place the stage diagram next to the console.
  3. Set the five positions to middle, up, down, up, down.
07

Portrait Wall, Mannequin and Mask Finale

Expose the director, assemble four crystals and return the stolen mask to the stage ghost.

  1. Hang the portraits in the director's office: warrior upper left, boy lower left, general upper right and musician lower right. Take the magnetic card and Ornate Plate 2/2 from the opened cache.
  2. Place both ornate plates on the changing-room side door. Take the final hat, then dress the mannequin to match the tall boy in the director's newspaper: trousers from the floor, boots below the makeup table, white shirt from the left rail and cap beneath the cowboy hat.
  3. Speak with the revealed boy. In the staff room, scan the safe with the magnetic card and guide the token through the arrow maze. Take the crowbar, Crystal 1/4 and the refrigerator handle.
  4. Pry up the staff-room rug with the crowbar and take the magnet. Fit the handle to the restaurant refrigerator for milk, then give the milk to the cat in the small office to receive Crystal 2/4.
  5. Combine the string with the magnet. In the courtyard, pry open the grate behind the car and lower the magnet to retrieve the tagged key.
  6. Use the tagged key on the lobby cash register. Take the music token and Crystal 3/4, then insert the token in the music-room jukebox.
  7. Use the arrows to rebuild matching pairs of musical instruments from the broken image fragments. Take Crystal 4/4 when every pair is complete.
  8. Place all four crystals in the director's portrait and confront him about the mask. Return to the courtyard, pry open the car trunk and check the fuel compartment for the final sun token. Take the mask from the trunk.
  9. Give the mask to the ghost on the stage. The curse lifts, the audience is freed and the main-story star becomes available.
Puzzle solution

Director's Portrait Wall

Fixed solution
Quick solution

Warrior upper left; boy lower left; general upper right; musician lower right.

How to solve it

  1. Place the warrior and boy portraits in the two left frames.
  2. Place the general and musician portraits in the two right frames.
  3. Use the exact upper/lower order shown in the clue to open the wall cache.
Puzzle solution

Tall-Boy Mannequin Outfit

Fixed solution
Quick solution

White shirt, trousers, boots and cap.

How to solve it

  1. Take the trousers from the floor and boots from beneath the makeup table.
  2. Take the white shirt from the left rail and the cap beneath the cowboy hat.
  3. Dress the mannequin in all four pieces to reveal the boy.
Puzzle solution

Magnetic-Card Safe Maze

Fixed solution

How to solve it

  1. Scan the card to activate the maze.
  2. Follow the open corridor and use the top/bottom arrow buttons to redirect the token at each junction.
  3. Plan the next junction before each press; reaching the end opens the safe.
08

Collectible Cleanup and Bonus Boards

Finish the three collectible sets, three five-stage boards and the morphing-object set before ending the episode.

  1. Find one morphing object in each major scene: lobby, stage, backstage, restaurant, courtyard, repair shop, changing room, under-stage room, music room, staff room, workshop and director's office. Claim the completed-set star from the display on the auditorium's right wall.
  2. Finish the fan set and claim its star from the right-hand restaurant table. Several fans are visible only after a compartment opens, including the one behind the repair-shop bus panel.
  3. Finish the hat set and collect its star from the right corner of the staff room. The final hat is behind the ornate-plate door in the changing room.
  4. Collect the five archers: behind the scraped lobby tile, in the drawer beneath the backstage control desk, inside the courtyard downspout, on the shelf behind the broken music-room mirror and beside the director's gramophone.
  5. Collect the five threads: on an auditorium chair after the lights return, beneath the repair-shop bus seat cover, below the leaves beside the under-stage drum, inside the workshop pouches and in the mug on the director's desk.
  6. Collect the five sun symbols: two are around the restaurant's purple-vase and unlit-lamp close-ups, one is at the changing-room sewing machine, one is inside the staff-room lamp and the last is in the courtyard car's fuel compartment.
  7. Use the archers at their box backstage, the threads in the changing room and the sun symbols on the under-stage wall. Each collectible opens five bonus levels; clear all five levels in a set to earn that set's star.
Puzzle solution

Five Archer Bonus Levels

Randomized puzzle

Begin at the large red dot and end at the marked line. If your shields do not match a screenshot, keep the same route rule and solve your displayed layout.

How to solve it

  1. Open the archer box backstage after collecting all five pieces.
  2. For each level, inspect the shield directions before drawing the route.
  3. Complete all five boards to release the archer-set star.

Puppet Master's Secret Room

Use the balcony binoculars to find all twelve puppets and return them to the puppet master.

This list does not claim an unverified total. Missing an extra star? Send the location and we will verify it before adding it.

Puppet Master's Secret Room

Take the binoculars from the balcony above the stage. The hidden entrance is the false door beneath the auditorium balconies, and the twelve wandering puppets appear only while viewing rooms through the binoculars.

  1. From the auditorium, use the binoculars on the false door beneath the balconies to reveal the hidden room. Enter and speak with the puppet master.
  2. Keep the binoculars selected while revisiting the first four locations: auditorium—middle chair; under the stage—beside the drums on the right; music room—shelf above the mirror; backstage—behind the archer box.
  3. Continue through the next four: changing room—on the armchair; workshop—beside the upper shelf in the right corner; inner courtyard—on the panel above the car; repair shop—on the front of the bus.
  4. Finish with the last four: lobby—behind the poster stand; restaurant—behind the bar; staff room—on the chair; director's office—on the desk.
  5. Return all twelve puppets to the puppet master to complete the secret room and collect its star.
